Scholarships Opportunities
Carroll County 4-H
- Up to 4-$500 scholarship recipients
- Applicant must be a graduating high school senior
- Applicant must have a total of seven completed 4-H years
- Applicant may attend any school of further education
- Applicant must complete Carroll County 4-H Scholarship application
Meister-Crowder Memorial Scholarship
- One $500 scholarship recipient
- Applicant must be a 10-year 4-H member
- Applicant must plan on attending any school of further education
- Applicant must complete an Outstanding 4-H application
Mary Susan Brown Memorial Scholarship
- One $500 scholarship recipient
- Applicant must be a 10-year 4-H member
- Applicant must plan on attending any school of further education
- Applicant must complete an Outstanding 4-H application
Senior Year Scholarship
- Available to 4-H members in their senior year of high school
- Awards range from $250-$1,000
- Available to 4-H members entering Purdue University majoring in the College of Agriculture or select majors in the College of Health and Human Services
- Available to a 4-H member majoring in horticulture or landscape architecture at Purdue University and studied plant science in 4-H
- Available to 4-H members in grades 10-12 of high school and the year immediately following high school graduation
- Awards range from $1,000-$2,000
- Scholarship categories include:
- Animal Science -- Meat and Milk Production
- Animal Science -- Companion and Small Animal Production
- Citizenship
- Communications
- Engineering and Technological Science
- Healthy Living
- Food and Nutrition Science
- Leadership Development
- Plant and Environmental Science
- Previous recipients of a Accomplishment Scholarship are only eligible for scholarship categories:
- Premier Achievement
- Premier Citizenship
- Premier Leadership
Applications are due to county extension office by January 25th.
Carroll County Ag Association
- Applicant must be a graduating senior in 4-H or FFA
- Applicant must be enrolled in college or trade school that will further education
- Applicant must have a C average high school grade point average
- Applicant must be a Carroll county resident
- Scholarships will be awarded based on swine project activities and general agriculture and agribusiness activities
- CCAA annually awards $6000
