Purdue Extension East Central Region strengthens communities in Blackford, Delaware, Henry, Jay, Randolph, and Wayne counties by providing practical, research-based resources in agriculture, health, community development, and 4-H youth education.
4-H Youth Development
4-H membership and volunteer status is organized by county of residence. Numerous regional initiatives and educational opportunities will also be available, including contests, camps, workshops, and other learning opportunities for youth and volunteers.

Childcare providers in the Wabash Heartland Region are supported and empowered through access to tools, guidance, and encouragement that promote success. The program offers professional development to build skills, classroom modeling to demonstrate effective teaching strategies, and group mentorship for shared learning and collaboration.
