Welcome to Henry County 4-h
Henry County 4-H Youth Development strives to be the premier, community-based program empowering young people to reach their full potential.
4-H offers year-round youth development programming in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), agriculture, healthy living, civic engagement/leadership, and volunteer development. Eexplore fun, educational activities and learning experiences to do in-person or at home.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
4-H is open to all youth in grades 3-12 (Mini 4-H is offered to grades K-2) without regard to race, religion, color, sex, national origin, marital status, parental status, sexual orientation, or disability. 4-H is for everyone!
4-H relies heavily on responsible adult volunteers in order to provide a positive experience for our youth. All volunteers must undergo a background check in order to be involved in our program. Volunteer positions vary, depending on what is needed in each particular county. Some of our volunteers provide leadership for local 4-H clubs, while others contribute their expertise on a given topic.
where to enroll
4-H enrollment for young people and adult volunteers is always open via 4HOnline website. We encourage you to sign up between October 1st and January 15th of each year to get the most out of your 4-H experience.
Which 4-H Club is best for me?
Are you wondering which of our 18 county 4-H Clubs is the best fit for you? We've put together an info sheet to help you decide. Youth can participate in as many 4-H Clubs as they are interested in so you don't have to choose just one!
