4-H Camp for 3rd–6th Graders

Carroll County youth in grades 3–6 are invited to join us for an exciting summer adventure at 4-H Camp, hosted in partnership with Area 8 and 9 counties: Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Howard, Miami, Newton, Pulaski, Tippecanoe, and White.

Camp is held at Camp Tecumseh YMCA Outdoor Center during the first week of June and typically spans 3 days and 2 nights. While at camp, youth will enjoy a variety of activities such as archery, canoeing, Mount Wood, crafts, nature exploration, Gaga ball, foods, sports, obstacle courses, and hiking. Campers also experience the fun of cabin life, sharing a space with 10–12 peers from across the region.

Registration Information
Applications usually open on April 1. Space is limited, and spots are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis with a completed registration form and payment.

Opportunities for Older 4-H’ers

Youth in grades 9–12 have the unique opportunity to attend camp as Camp Counselors. Counselors guide a cabin group of 10–12 younger campers, lead activities, and help create a welcoming and engaging environment. Serving as a counselor allows older 4-H’ers to develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills while making a lasting impact on younger members.

Counselor Application Information
Camp counselor applications are distributed each fall and are due in the first part of January.
