Steuben County Community Foundation
The Steuben County Community Foundation offers scholarship opportunities each year. The scholarships are in a portal and students are required to complete a universal application. Once submitted, the portal will assign any scholarship that the individual is eligible to apply for. Students or youth will then need to go into each assigned scholarship application and complete the required questions, reference requests, essays, etc. for each individual scholarship.
Each year the award amounts vary based on the earnings the scholarship’s permanent endowment accrues as well as if students do return scholarship funds. In general, the portal opens on November 1st each year. The foundation tries to include extra resources for applicants during the application period. For example, an instructional video is posted on their social media and website for applicants to utilize. Be on the lookout for the extra tips!
