Indoor Projects
Floyd County 4-H
Mini 4-H is for youth in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. It introduces youth and their families to the 4-H program in a relaxed, non-competitive format. Mini 4-H members may attend club meetings but do not have to be in a club. This is an excellent way for youth to learn by doing and exhibit projects at the fair. Mini 4-H members will also have the opportunity to attend workshops and exhibit any project in the county fair.
Any project will be accepted at the Floyd County Fair Project check-in and will receive a blue ribbon. Below are some project suggestions. If interested in a free hard copy of the manuals below, please call the Floyd County Extension office for availability at 812-948-5470

4-H Green Folders, also known as Achievement Record Books are a good way to keep track of all things youth have done while involved in 4-H. They are also used to select awards each year. When youth near college age, it is important to have up-to-date records to be considered for various scholarships. A new Record of 4-H Achievement sheet should be added to the folder each year.
