Click here to see the 2020 4-H Fair Calendar and what dates may be relevant to you and your projects. All dates and times are subject to change. Please be patient as we work to provide you with the most up-to-date information.

FairEntry is open Tuesday, June 16th- Sunday, July 12th. The 4-H FairEntry Family letter provides a brief explanation of updates from last year's FairEntry process to this year. Need help finding your project in FairEntry? Click here to see where each project is located in FairEntry. There is also a FairEntry Step-by-Step guide to help you navigate the system.

The 4-H Express newsletter is a great resource of information regarding upcoming trips and opportunities for 4-Hers in Montgomery County.  Please check here to learn about upcoming deadlines that are important to mark on your calendars.

Want to be involved in the Montgomery County 4-H program? BECOME A VOLUNTEER! 

     The Indiana 4-H Youth Development Program has a variety of involvement opportunities available. We rely heavily on adults who care about the development of youth across the state in order to deliver positive youth development experiences to our youth. All volunteers must pass a background check and participate in training provided through 4-H Online. 

Volunteer positions that are available in Montgomery County:

  1. Help with a one time event/program
  2. Lead a 4-H Club (organize meetings and speakers, provide assistance to youth club leaders)
  3. Become a Junior Leader Club advisor
  4. Additional Shooting Sports Instructors for Pistol/Rifle
  5. SPARK Clubs
  6. Help with a specific 4-H project
  7. Help with an afterschool program
  8. Help with a summer program
  9. Sit on a county governing board
  10. Volunteer on a 4-H Inc. committee
  11. Hold an educational workshop for youth
