The College of Agriculture claimed 1st place in the Next Giant Leap Challenge, achieving a 70% increase in total gifts compared to last year. This milestone could not have been possible without the incredible efforts of Extension staff, supporters and communities. This victory is a powerful testament to the growing momentum and passion behind Extension’s work.

One of the standout moments came from Whitley County, which nearly doubled its gift total from last year. Moments like this reflect the strength of local connections and the meaningful impact Extension continues to have at the county level.

Preliminary figures suggest that Extension may have received over 1,500 gifts, surpassing last year's impressive total of 1,265. While final validation of the donor dashboard is still in progress, and official stewardship materials are projected to be available in mid-June, these early numbers already point to an inspiring success. You can explore Extension’s success on the leaderboard here: Extension Leaderboard – Purdue Day of Giving

Looking ahead, the enthusiasm and support demonstrated this year set a bold foundation for future efforts. With continued collaboration and community engagement, the path forward for Extension’s involvement during Purdue Day of Giving is filled with even greater potential.
