Nuisance Wildlife Management Workshop Will Help You With Problem Critters

It’s getting close to the first mowing of the year, you look out your window and see those pesky mole runs and mole hills. What do you do?

If you find yourself sometimes having to deal with moles and other problem critters, plan to attend Purdue Extension’s Nuisance Wildlife Management Workshop, June 12, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., at the Whitley County Ag Museum on the Whitley County 4-H Fairgrounds, 680 W. Squawbuck Road, Columbia City, IN.

Jeff Burbrink, Extension Educator in LaGrange County, will be the featured speaker. Jeff has taught this subject to numerous Master Gardener classes, and now we bring this subject to you!

You’ll learn about understanding wildlife needs, whether you need a permit, deer management, Canada geese management, squirrels, coyotes, mole control, vole control, and more. Lethal and non-lethal management strategies will be covered.

There is no cost for the program, but pre-registration is required. Register by calling Purdue Extension in Whitley County, 260-244-7615, or visit https://tinyurl.com/Wildlife-2024 by June 7.

Purdue University is an equal access/equal opportunity university.
