What is a Career Development Event?

Career Development Events (CDE) occur throughout the state during different times of the year. Some contest events require competing at area level while others begin with a state contest event. Additionally some provide for national competition options while others do not. These competitive events provide opportunity for youth to showcase their knowledge on a specific topic while also building life skills. Most CDE’s offer individual and team entries.
