Urban farming continues to make a meaningful impact across Indiana by increasing access to fresh food, creating educational opportunities, and strengthening communities. Purdue Extension recently highlighted how urban agriculture programs are expanding throughout the state and the positive difference they are making in local communities.
We are proud to see Faith Farms, West Side Leadership Academy in Gary Community School Corporation, and Harrison Elementary School in East Chicago recognized for their involvement in urban agriculture, youth engagement, and community partnerships.
