Home Environment
The member enrolled in this project will learn about color, texture, design and energy savings techniques. You will also learn about selecting and caring for furniture and appliances; arranging rooms; and lighting ideas. You will have the option to exhibit either a Design Board (poster and notebook), Portfolio (notebook), Furniture Item (with a notebook) or Independent Study (Level 3). NOTE: Each level has several options per category from which to choose. It is suggested that you either choose a different topic each year or show how you expanded on the same option (portfolio and furniture categories only).
