Dog
The dog obedience project teaches 4-H’ers how to feed, train, and care for their dog. The 4-H Program offers a weekly training class with competent instructors beginning in March. This makes the need for receiving outside training unnecessary. The Project Leaders and Parent/Advisory Committee have the final say as to what division the member and dog will show in. Classes will be declared by third training session in June and will not be changed after that date. No exceptions. If at any time the Project Leader and Parent/Advisory Committee feels a dog is being mistreated the dog and owner will be asked to leave the project. Pain reinforcement training techniques will not be tolerated.
