Bicycle
The Bicycle Rodeo provides 4-H members with the opportunity to actually demonstrate their knowledge of bicycle maintenance, safety and operation. Any 4-H’er is encouraged to be in the rodeo. 4-H’ers are responsible for furnishing their own bicycle and helmet. The rodeo goals are:
- To develop the skills, leadership, and citizenship of 4H members.
- To emphasize safety practices of street driving your bicycle.
- To maintain and increase interest of 4H bicyclists.
- To demonstrate:
- bicycle driving skills
- knowledge of bicycle traffic rules
- bicycle parts, identifications and function
