Purdue Extension - Floyd County

We improve lives and livelihoods by delivering tested and trusted educational resources.  The Cooperative Extension Service is one of the nation's largest providers of scientific research-based information and education. It's a network of colleges, universities, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, serving communities and counties across America.  The Purdue Extension focuses on: Agriculture and Natural Resources, Health & Human Sciences, Community Development and 4-H Youth.

If you phone the Extension Office and your call is not answered, please leave a message. Voice messages are transferred to email and you will receive a timely reply. During inclement weather or other circumstances, office staff may be working remotely. They will reply to emails and return phone messages as time allows. Thank you for your patience.

The federal government, in partnership with states, is deploying broadband funds through
the Broadband Equity, Adoption, and Deployment program also known as BEAD. Indiana is receiving close to $870 million. A map compiled by the FCC will dictate where these funds go. So, we need to make sure Indiana’s map is as accurate as possible. See the information below for details.
