4-H Enrollment Information

Floyd County 4-H

Annual 4-H Youth Enrollment can be done at https://v2.4honline.com/ starting October 1. The 4-H year runs until September 30. Membership fees can be paid online with a credit card (preferred) or check payable to the Purdue CES Ed Fund and mailed to Purdue Extension-Floyd County, 3000 Technology Ave, Suite L2110, New Albany IN 47150.

Membership fees are $5 Kindergarten – 2nd Grade and $20 for 3rd-12th Graders. Once enrolled a 4-H Club Leader should contact you. There could be a nominal charge for some of the 4-H project manuals that 4-Hers may choose to purchase. However, some are free downloads found here. Some 4-H Clubs have annual membership dues. Those will be paid directly to that club.

After enrolling in 4-H, you can choose to join the club that best fits your interests, activities, and schedule. You may also be in your school’s 4-H club or a classroom club. Youth can choose as many clubs or projects they wish and do not have to own an animal to participate in the animal clubs.
Call the Floyd County Extension office 812-948-5470 for questions.

Mini 4-H - Mini 4-H is for youth in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. It introduces youth
and their families to the 4-H program in a relaxed, non-competitive format. Mini 4-H
members may attend club meetings but do not have to be in a club. This is an excellent
way for youth to learn by doing and exhibit projects at the fair. Mini 4-H members will
also have the opportunity to attend workshops. Click here for the link to the State 4-H website.
