Learn about proper nutrition, housing and health care for you goat and participate in the meat goat show at the fair.

- Weeks of May 6th & May 13th. Your project leaders will contact you for a time to visit your farm

- Deadline to register Meat Goats (v2.4honline.com)
- Deadline for Livestock Location Forms to Extension Office (Online Form)
- Deadline for DNA samples to Extension Office (State Fair Only)

Reminders:

Each 4-H member is encouraged to turn in a record sheet and worksheet for the Meat Goat project for the year
Grade is based on the grade you were in when you enrolled in 4-H for the 2024 year
Answers to the worksheet are found in the Goat Resource Manual (Ohio State) (one resource manual is provided per family the first year a family member takes a Goat Project)
If you exhibit an animal poster project you are encouraged to complete the General 4-H Record Sheet and turn it in at judging check-in.
