Trips & Camp Information and Forms
It’s time to start planning for summer 4-H adventures! 4-H members have several exciting opportunities to learn, explore careers, and make new friends.
4-H Camp at Shakamak State Park (June 7–10) is open to youth currently in grades 3–6 and includes boating, crafts, swimming, outdoor cooking, games, and more. High school students in grades 9–12 can apply to serve as camp counselors.
Several State 4-H Trips at Purdue University are also available:

4-H Academy (Grades 9–12, June 11–12) – Choose from hands-on workshops like Artificial Intelligence, Animal Health, Food Science, Microelectronics, Emergency Medical Services, Natural Resources, Aerospace, Creative Arts, Financial Literacy, Plant Sciences, and Leadership.

4-H Round-Up (Grades 7–8, June 10–12) – Experience college life at Purdue while exploring different careers and building leadership skills.
Additional statewide opportunities include:

National 4-H Congress (Grades 9–11, Nov. 27–Dec. 1, Atlanta) – A national leadership and cultural experience.

Indiana State Fair Exhibit Hall Workers (Age 14+) – A paid opportunity to work at the State Fair and gain valuable job skills.

Indiana 4-H Ambassador Program (Grades 9–11) – A year-round leadership program for teens passionate about advocating for 4-H.
To be considered for Vigo County 4-H trip funding, submit the Trip Interest Form and $50 deposit by March 27. Youth must be enrolled in 4-H to participate- enrollment is still open at v2.4honline.com.
