Master Gardener Basic Training Scholarship

The Allen County Master Gardener Association is excited to offer a scholarship covering the $195.00 fee of the Fall 2024 Purdue Extension Master Gardener Basic Training! Through this scholarship, we hope to give someone the opportunity to take the EMG Basic Training who otherwise may not have been able to. Only the Allen County EMG Coordinator will know the identity of anyone who applies for and/or receives the scholarship. Completed scholarship applications can be emailed to hill272@purdue.edu or dropped off in-person at the Allen County Extension Office at 4001 Crescent Ave Fort Wayne, IN 46815. The office is open 8 AM – 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.

***Scholarship applications are due Friday, August 30, 2024. The scholarship recipient will be notified via email by Wednesday, September 4. The August 30 deadline is to ensure sufficient time for a recipient to be chosen, the coordinator to notify the scholarship recipient, the recipient to register for the training, and the Master Gardener Association to mail a check to the Purdue Ed Store. We hope to continue growing and improving upon this scholarship opportunity in the future! ***
