It's summertime. That means the Hendricks County Fair will be here before we know it. Make sure you are ready for fair with all the references we have for you to follow.
The purpose of Junior Leaders is to encourage the development of young adults, provide assistance to the local 4-H Clubs and their 4-H Adult Leaders, assist in the leadership of 4-H activities and programs, and to collaborate, socialize, and experience 4-H on another level.
The Purdue Master Gardener Program provides an opportunity for Indiana residents to increase their knowledge on a variety of horticultural subjects. The mission of the program is to provide research-based information and assistance in the areas of gardening and home horticulture through the use of trained and certified volunteers. Hendricks County will once again be offering a Purdue Master Gardener Basic Training Class. Classes are scheduled for Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., beginning August 23 through December 6 at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds in Danville, IN.
The Indiana Extension Homemakers Association strives to strengthen homes and families through continuing education, leadership development and volunteer community support. The Hendricks County Extension Homemakers offer scholarships and a monthly teacher grant to Hendricks County educators.
