The 4-H Beef educational program and related activities (such as workshops, tours, etc.) provide youth a fun and hands-on learning experience which develops both beef subject skills (such as nutrition, housing, and health care) and life skills (such as responsibility, decision-making, nurturing, and communications).

Beef & Swine Health Workshop sponsored by the Purdue Extension Educators in Carroll, Cass, Miami & Tipton Counties will be held April 13th from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. The Mini 4-H program is geared towards activity based learning. Curriculum is based on the age appropriate research and involves cooperative, experiential, and noncompetitive activities. Mini 4-H'ers have the opportunity to attend club meetings.Hamilton County Mini 4-H program is for children enrolled in Kindergarten, First and Second Grade of the current 4-H year.
