Indiana 4-H Invention Convention Workshop

Students are tackling some of the most complex global challenges of our time: climate action, cybersecurity, water scarcity, food security, and infectious disease. Indiana 4-H Invention Convention is a K-12 invention education program that activates STEM + Invention + Entrepreneurship (STEMIE) learning to instill problem identification, problem-solving, and creativity skills for life, inspiring young people to become the next generation of innovators, inventors, and entrepreneurs. This professional development workshop will equip educators and volunteers to facilitate the Indiana 4-H Invention Convention program in their 4-H clubs, schools, and other youth-serving organizations. Participants will 1) work through the Invention Convention Worldwide curriculum and resources, 2) develop plans to implement invention education in their classrooms, clubs, or organizations, 3) learn about student competition opportunities. The registration fee covers lunch and teaching materials. Contact hours gained during a workshop are eligible for teachers to apply toward their Professional Growth Points.

Register for this workshop via 4-H Online. Visit the Indiana 4-H Invention Convention page to learn more about the program.
