Women who work in the agricultural industry can network and learn about topics ranging from business planning to gardening for health at the 2017 Midwest Women in Agriculture Conference. The conference will be held Feb. 22-23 at the Swan Lake Resort, 5203 Plymouth LaPorte Trail, Plymouth.
Participants will learn about the latest university recommendations for managing irrigated corn and soybeans. Pesticide applicator re-certification credits are available for private and commercial applicators in Michigan and Indiana. Indiana private applicators need to bring their license and $10 PARP fee. Certified Crop Adviser CEUs have been applied for.
