Welcome to the Wayne County Health and Human Sciences Page!

I am Elisa Worland, the Health and Human Sciences Extension Educator serving Wayne County. I am a licensed social worker in the state of Indiana and worked for a number of years in the mental health field before coming to Extension. I also have experience providing services to domestic violence survivors, individuals with developmental disabilities, and people experiencing homelessness.

Purdue Extension Health and Human Sciences assesses the needs and assets of the community, and based on that assessment provides educational programming and research data to community members, organizations, local government, and coalition.
