The 4-H Poultry educational program and related activities (such as workshops, tours, etc.) provide youth a fun and hands-on learning experience which develops both poultry subject skills (such as nutrition, housing, and health care) and life skills (such as responsibility, decision-making, nurturing, and communications).

EXHIBIT CHECK-IN: Wednesday, July 19, 2-8 PM

JUDGING:
  Showmanship Thursday, July 20, 10 AM, Open Judging
  Poultry show Thursday, July 20, Immediately following Showmanship Open Judging

RELEASE TIME:
  Thursday, July 20, Water Fowl only Immediately following Poultry show
  Tuesday, July 25, 7 AM– Noon, All Non-Auction livestock released

AUCTION: Tuesday, July 25, 5:30 PM

STATE FAIR ENTRIES: All livestock for STATE FAIR must be properly identified and enrolled. Refer to indianastatefair.com for entry information.


NOTE: 

  • All poultry must have a completed entry form and Animal Location form turned into the Extension Office by May 15.
