The 4-H Poultry educational program and related activities (such as workshops, tours, etc.) provide youth a fun and hands-on learning experience which develops both poultry subject skills (such as nutrition, housing, and health care) and life skills (such as responsibility, decision-making, nurturing, and communications).

EXHIBIT CHECK-IN: Wednesday, July 13, 2-8 PM

JUDGING:
  Showmanship Thursday, July 14, 10 AM, Open Judging
  Poultry show Thursday, July 14, Immediately following Showmanship Open Judging

RELEASE TIME:
  Thursday, July 14, Water Fowl only Immediately following Poultry show
  Tuesday, July 19, 7 AM– Noon, All Non-Auction livestock released

AUCTION: Tuesday, July 19, 5:30 PM

STATE FAIR ENTRIES: All livestock for STATE FAIR must be properly identified and enrolled. Refer to indianastatefair.com for entry information.


NOTE: 

  • All poultry must have a completed entry form and Animal Location form turned into the Extension Office by May 15.
  • New for 2022 and following the 2021 new State Fair Rules. Exhibitors must be present at the time of judging, exhibitors not present at the time of judging will not have their bird judged.
