Introduction

For more than a century, 4-H has empowered young people with the skills, confidence, and values needed to succeed today and lead tomorrow. We are excited to share an important initiative that will directly shape the future of 4-H in our community - the launch of the Elkhart County 4-H Endowment Fundraising Campaign with a goal of $1 million.

An endowment is a permanent investment—gifts are invested, and only the earnings are used to support programs. This creates an ongoing source of funding for scholarships, leadership development, innovative programming, volunteer training, and access for youth who might not otherwise be able to participate. A contribution made today will continue to benefit 4-H members for generations to come.

To demonstrate our commitment and confidence in this effort, the Elkhart County 4-H Corporation has already invested $50,000 to seed the endowment. This initial investment provides a strong foundation and signals that 4-H leadership is fully committed to building a sustainable future for the program.
