Junior Pork Day on Purdue's West Lafayette Campus is designed to help 4-H swine members, parents, and leaders with selecting project pigs, evaluating live hogs, carcasses, and pork cuts; identifying pork cuts; raising healthy pigs; managing breeding animals; and showmanship.

Are you an early education childcare provider and looking for new and creative ways to help your students learn? Join Purdue Extension on March 11th for a one day Growing Health Active Children: Childcare Provider Seminar. Teachers will earn certificates for Department of Education license renewal or Paths to Quality. Registration and lunch is $25. The seminar will be held at the Wright Center in West Lafayette, Registration begins at 9:00 seminar is from 10:00 AM to 2:30.
Series of fun and actives sessions of the I am Moving, I am Learning program will be offered spring 2017. This program series is for caregivers, educators, and parents of young children (birth to 5) to encourage children's movement, development, and healthy food choices each day.

The Strengthening Families Program: For Parents and Youth 10-14 has made a difference in thousands of families in all 50 states and in over 25 countries. Purdue Extension along with our community partners are now bringing this program to families in Indiana. Purdue Extension Benton and Warren Counties will be offering this program beginning April 11 for 7 weeks. Parents want to protect their children, but it's challenging.
