Will be held on Wednesday, February 22 at 7 pm at the Switzerland County Technology & Education Building. Featured Speaker will be David Osborne, Extension Educator, Agriculture/Natural Resources Wildlife and Game Enthusiast.
Will be held on Thursday, March 9 & 16 from 6:30 - 8:30 at the Switzerland County Education & Technology Building. Featured speakers will be Don Carlson, Purdue University Forester and Kyle Weaver, Extension Educator.
Will be held at the Switzerland County Technology and Education Center on March 7 from 10 am to 5 pm. There will be free one hour planning sessions with an estate planning professional. Appointments are required. Please call 427-3152 to RSVP or with any questions.
Women who work in the agricultural industry can network and learn about topics ranging from business planning to gardening for health at the 2017 Midwest Women in Agriculture Conference. The conference will be held Feb. 22-23 at the Swan Lake Resort, 5203 Plymouth LaPorte Trail, Plymouth.
Purdue Extension-Jefferson/Switzerland Counties are offering the Strengthening Families for Parents and Youth 10-14 Program that focuses on family skills taught in group sessions to increase family strengths, build on improving family relationships, parenting skills and improving youth's social and life skills. The World Health Organization named this Strengthening Families Program the Number 1 prevention program out of 6,000 programs analyzed for long-term effects on substance use and misuse.
