Beginning this year, to exhibit beef cattle, dairy cattle, swine, sheep, goats, poultry or rabbits, 4-H members must be certified through the Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) program. Attention Senior 4-H Livestock Members!
The Monroe County Livestock Sale Committee, 4-H Board of Directors and myself would like to invite you to apply for the Bruce Haley Memorial Scholarship. Bruce Haley was very supportive of the Monroe County 4-H Program and gave many years of service as our livestock auctioneer. In 2016, a $2000 scholarship was established in Bruce's memory, and thanks to generous donors and supporters, the scholarship will be awarded again this year.
It's Fair Entry Time again! Each member actively enrolled in the 4-H Program will have to access the Fair Entry System and select ALL the exhibits (includes both 4-H Building AND animal projects) they are bringing to the fair. This system works hand-in-hand with 4HOnline (the web-based enrollment system).
Connect with fellow individuals who have an interest in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of prescribed fires in Indiana on May 30th during this annual meeting, hosted by the Indiana Prescribed Fire Council.
