The Shooting Sports program is designed to teach the safe use of firearms and archery equipment on the shooting range and in the hunting field, to instill the importance of home firearms responsibility, and to develop the skills to properly handle firearms and archery equipment. The shooting disciplines available are archery, rifle, pistol, and shotgun. A Hunter Education course will be made available for all shooting sports members prior to participating in shooting events.

Junior Pork Day is scheduled for Saturday, March 3, 2018. It will be in the new Creighton Hall of Animal Science (270 S Russell Street, West Lafayette, IN 47907). Registration is from 8 am to 9 am with the program beginning at 9 am and should be over by 3 pm. The cost is $5 with lunch included. Youth will have the opportunity to learn about various areas of swine production, learn to evaluate live animals and cuts of pork as well as hone their swine showing skills with the showmanship clinic. 4-H Camp! 4-Hers from Warren, Jasper and Tipton Counties have 3 days of fun, boating, swimming, nature hikes, crafts, group recreation, skits, campfires, and vespers. 4-H Jr. Leader Counselors lead all of this fun!

4-H Grows True Leaders! Youth grades 3 - 12 can now enroll online for the 2018 4-H. Youth in grades 2 may join Mini 4-H.
Junior Leaders is for 4-Hers who are in the 7th through 12th grade. The goal of Junior Leaders is to develop leadership skills while having fun and meeting new friends. One of the community service projects is cleaning a stretch of road for the state Adopt-A Highway program; another has been making and distributing 911 signs. We have meetings and programs throughout the year, along with many fun things including: Chicago, Whitewater Rafting and Much More. To complete Junior Leaders you must
