What's Jr. Leaders all about? Junior Leaders is for 4-Hers who are in the 7th through 12th grade. The goal of Junior Leaders is to develop leadership skills while having fun and meeting new friends. One of the community service projects is cleaning a stretch of road for the state Adopt-A Highway program; another has been making and distributing 911 signs. We have meetings and programs throughout the year, along with many fun things including: Chicago, Whitewater Rafting and Much More.

With persistent, often heavy rainfall triggering flood alerts throughout Indiana during the last week of April and first week of May, many Hoosiers were concerned about possible damage to homes and newly planted grain crops. In response, Purdue University's Extension Disaster Education Network has compiled a list of online resources that could help Indiana homeowners and farmers coping with the storms' aftermath.
After a three-year slump of corn and soybean prices, many Hoosier farmers face uncertain financial futures. We've seen this scenario before, but what happens next? What will forthcoming federal policies dictate? Can producers respond in ways that deliver short- and long-term benefits?

This knowledge equips us to make the best decisions for ourselves and generations to come.
