Noble REMC is, for the 13th straight year, offering three $1,000 scholarships designed to help area students further their education at an accredited college or trade school.
Requirements:
- Applicant’s parent or legal guardian must be a Noble REMC member, meaning their primary residence is served by Noble REMC.
- Applicant must enroll in an accredited educational or training institution.

Ag Plus 2026 Scholarship Guidelines
The 2026 Ag Plus Scholarship program is open for applications!

This program offers a $1,000 scholarship to four students pursuing a two- or four-year degree in an agricultural or landscape-related curriculum.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be majoring in an agricultural field, including forage, turf, or landscape-related programs.
- Be a high school senior or a college student in their freshman, sophomore, or junior year as of the Fall 2026 semester.
- Demonstrate both leadership abilities and strong academic performance.
- Reside within the Ag Plus trade area.
Ag Plus values the leadership and passion that students bring to the agricultural industry. Through this scholarship program, we aim to encourage and support students in achieving their goals of building impactful careers in agriculture or related fields.
The 2025 recipients, Cord Akey, Kohen Schipper, Carley Sroufe, and Maggie Wolf, are examples of individuals who share a strong commitment to agriculture and its advancement.
Application Details:
- Applications must be submitted to the South Whitley office of Ag Plus by Friday February 28, 2026, to be eligible.

- Scholarship recipients will be notified by April 17, 2026.

Noble County Farm Bureau is excited to announce our 2025 scholarship applications are now open! We are offering at least 2 scholarships up to $1000. All eligible high school seniors are encouraged to apply by visiting https://www.infarmbureau.org/CountyDistrictApplications Applications are due by March 1, 2025. Please complete the scholarship online. To be eligible, applicants must:
- A high school senior graduating in the spring of 2025
- Planning a career in agriculture or an agriculture related field
- Applicant’s or the applicant’s family do not need to be members of Farm Bureau to be eligible for the county scholarship
There is also a District 2 Farm Bureau Scholarship on the same site that high school seniors may apply for.
The scholarship will be sent directly to the college/university that the student will be attending. Students chosen will be honored at their school’s senior awards night and the Noble County 4-H Fair during the Round Robin Showmanship Competition.

STAR Bank is excited to announce we are once again investing in the “future of agriculture” through five $1,000 college scholarships.
To be eligible, students must currently be a senior in high school or have at least one year remaining in their college/trade school in Fall of 2025. Eligible high school students would need to be entering a trade or collegiate program within two years of earning the scholarship.
To participate, visit our web page for the contest at https://www.starfinancial.com/future-of-agriculture-scholarship. Fill out the form with your contact information and answer the following question: lease tell us how you have, or plan to, impact agriculture as it pertains to the past, current or future generations of farmers.
Here are some specifics for the contest:
- The deadline for entry into the contest is April 21, 2025.
- Essays should be 250 words or less.
- The contest will be limited to those who reside or attend school in one of the following Indiana counties: Allen, Blackford, Boone, DeKalb, Delaware, Grant, Hamilton, Hancock, Henry, Huntington, Howard, Jay, Madison, Marion, Noble, Randolph, Steuben, Tipton, Whitley or Wells.
