Knox County Newsletter May-June 2026
Purdue Extension Knox County 2026 Newsletter, featuring news in all of our program areas. Learn our latest updates from our extension educators. Here is one story that is featured in our newsletter.
Warmer weather is on its way and with that many farms have been very busy with planting activities. When driving, be aware of slow-moving vehicles, keep your distance, plan extra time to get to your intended location, and most importantly be safe. 4-H activities and deadlines are also upon us so make sure to be checking your mail and look inside this newsletter for updates. Garden season is also here which means food preservation season is just around the corner. Make sure pressure gauges are working and make sure you know how to preserve foods safely. Check out the health and human science section for more details. There are many gardening and natural resource programs coming up. Sign-up to receive e-newsletters from the ag and natural resource educator and check out that section of this newsletter so you don’t miss out!
If you have 4-H, health, nutrition, food safety, agriculture, natural resource, or gardening questions feel free to call us at 812-882-3509.
