Beginning Farmer

Interested in starting a farm but unsure of how to get started or where you can find help? Are you already a farmer but eager to enhance and improve your management practices? Purdue Extension’s Beginning Farmer Workshop can help put you on a path to success!

Wednesdays February 23 through April 6, 6 PM to 8 PM at the Purdue Extension - Allen County (4001 Crescent Ave).

The registration fee is $70 per individual and includes a workbook.

Interested in both Urban Farming and Beginning Farmer?

These two programs were created so that both build upon each other with minimal overlap in content. Register for both and receive a reduced rate of $125 at https://cvent.me/gm2aOw

Scholarships available: If you're interested in attending but are concerned with the cost, we have partnered with Allen County Soil and Water Conservation District to offer scholarships to support urban farmers within the Western Lake Erie Basin Watershed.
