Purdue Extension is partnering with Senior Planet from AARP to bring informative, in-person lectures for adults ages 18 or older.

Session 1: Technology for Aging in Place

Come learn how smart technology can help you maintain your independence in your own home.

In this lecture, you'll learn how home assistants, smart appliances, and wearables can save you time and money, help you manage health conditions, and even give you greater peace of mind. We'll also discuss best practices for maintaining your privacy and security when using this technology.

Session 2: Food Delivery Apps

 Don't want to go out? Learn about some popular apps to get food delivered to your front door.

Ordering food and other items from home is now easier than ever thanks to the internet and mobile apps. This lecture provides an overview of the most popular food delivery apps, such as DoorDash, Uber Eats and more. You’ll learn about the pros and cons, special features, and best practices for using these apps.
