- Comply with all the requirements listed at the beginning of this “4-H Exhibit Hall Project” section page 58 and “Indiana and Putnam County 4-H Policy/ Terms” section page 17.
- The member is to exhibit for judging, all or a portion of the 4-H'er's collection and an informational notebook. Refer to the "Exhibit Listing" section below for additional information.
- The members are expected to add to the collection of items and increase their knowledge about this hobby each year.
- Fair exhibits must comply with the correct overall square inch requirement for the grade level.
- Notebooks for the collection project should include detailed information about how your project was completed. Photographs are encouraged along with costs and procedures to help judges see your progress.
- The Putnam County 4-H Extension Educator reserves the right to not display any exhibit that may be deemed too valuable or inappropriate for the fair-going audience.
- If exhibit is over 6 inches in height the 4-H’er must gain permission from the 4-H Extension Educator to exhibit the item during the county fair.
- Please inform extension staff if the project needs to be displayed a certain way.
Beginners (Grades 3-5 Suggested)
Exhibit for judging all or a portion of the 4-H'er's collection and an informational notebook.
Display – the area of the top of the display cannot exceed 432 square inches. It is recommended that the display height not exceed six inches.
Notebook - The informational notebook is to share a detailed description of the collection. See further information in project book.
Intermediate (Grades 6-8 Suggested)
Exhibit for judging all or a portion of the 4-H'er's collection and an informational notebook. The members are expected to add to the collection of items and increase their knowledge about this hobby each year.
Display – the area of the top of the display cannot exceed 576 square inches. It is recommended that the display height not exceed six inches.
Notebook - The informational notebook is to share a detailed description of the collection. See further information in project book.
Advanced (Grades 9-12 Suggested)
Exhibit for judging all or a portion of the 4-Her's collection and an informational notebook. The members are expected to add to the collection of items and increase their knowledge about this hobby each year.
