For all of those interested, the most highly requested resource from Purdue University has been updated. That resources is the Purdue University Farmland Value Survey data. To no surprise, land values decreased across Indiana. Declines were calculated to range from 8.2% to 8.7%. Declines of this magnitude have not been seen since the mid-80s.
Purdue Extension assisted local farmers in addressing the issues caused by the change in the agricultural climate through a workshop focusing on the various areas of farm management.
Women Walk Putnam County is a new program geared toward senior women in Putnam County. The group will meet every Wednesday morning at 8 a.m. for a 30 minute walk at a new venue every week. Goals will be set and healthy challenges will be made as the program progresses, such as steps taken per week, healthy recipe exchange, and much more.
