What is a 4-H project? How much does it cost? Are you wanting to know the answers to a few questions about the Jay County 4-H Program. Here are just a couple you may be interested in knowing.
Jay County Shooting Sports is designed to provide youth with knowledge and encourage the care that can avoid accidents in the home and in the fields. The program presents such subjects as proper handling and care of equipment, safety rules, learning to provide for your own safety as well as the safety of others, how to care for the shooting area and field responsibilities: all of which are essential to safe shooting activities.
Junior Leaders is a program for 7th-12th grade students. This program gives members the opportunity to develop leadership skills. It provides guidance to younger 4-H members, assists with local and county 4-H activities, complete community service projects, meet new friends and have FUN!!
