First Tuesday Programs - Come Learn with Us

Join the Boone County Extension Homemakers on the first Tuesday of the month for educational programs and to learn more about Extension Homemakers.  Spring sessions include; March 3 - Seed Starting, April 7 - Freezing Fruits & Vegetables, May 5 - Flower Gardens, and June 2 - Barn Quilts of Boone County.  Pre-registration required, call the Boone County Extension Office to register by the Friday before the session.  See First Tuesday Flyer for more information. 



Applications are available for the Boone County Extension Homemakers High School Scholarship, Vocational or Trade School Scholarship, Boone County Career Advancement Scholarship, IEHA Career Advancement Scholarship and the Ruth B. Sayre Scholarship.  See attached files. 


International Night

Join us for an evening of discovering Kenya East Africa.  Two graduate students from Purdue University will share information about their tribes in Kenya.  A Kenya meal will be served at 6:00 with the program to follow.  Reservations are requested.  Call the Extension Office by April 6th to register.  Please see attached flyer.


Quilt Show

The Boone County Extension Homemaker Quilt Show is April 25, 2015 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.  Admission is $3.00.  Please refer to the attached files for an entry form for a quilt and general information about the show.
