Purdue Extension is hosting a 2024 Pressure Canning Basics program on July 8, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm CT - 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm/EST. The program will take place at the Toyota Events Center at the Gibson County Fairgrounds.
This session includes:
- canning basics
- food safety guidelines for home canning
- where to find trusted resources
- lecture, discussion, and handouts

Pressure canner dial gauge testing will be available after the program for a $5 fee per gauge.
