Purdue Extension will be hosting a Canning and Pickling Workshop on March 8, 2024 at the Friedman Park Event Center, Newburgh, IN.  The event begins at 12:00 pm-5:00 pm CT or 1:00 pm-6:00 pm ET.  This course is a pre-conference event for the Purdue Extension Southwest Indiana Homesteading Conference.  Pre-confrenence Food Preservation Event cost is $35.00 per person.

In each session:
• learn canning basics, food safety guidelines for hom e canning, where to find resources
• course includes lecture, handouts and hands-on practice in the kitchen
