2023 Spring Break SPARK Programs
STEM
Join us for two afternoon sessions of exploring STEM through hands-on stations! Activities include 3D printing, coding, robotics, circuits, construction sets, and much more!
Dates: Tuesday, March 28 and Wednesday, March 29
Time: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (each day)
Location: Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds
Ages: 3rd-12th grade
- No 4-H Membership Required
- Stations will have challenges for all abilities!
Cost: $25/person
GEM (Get Experience in Mindfulness)
Relax and enjoy this program that places an emphasis on stress management taught through practical and interactive mindfulness-based activities.
Sessions: Tuesday, March 28th and Wednesday, March 29th
- No 4-H membership required.
7th to 12th grade participants
Time: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (lunch and snacks provided)
Location: Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds
Cost: $25/person
Participants will receive several take-home items for participating, including a yoga mat!
Chef University
This 2-day SPARK workshop is built for 3rd to 5th grade individuals to grow or establish their chef skills. This workshop is built to teach students about measuring, kitchen safety, and more!
- 4-H Membership is NOT required.
Sessions:
- Morning: Thursday, March 30th and Friday March 31st from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
- Afternoon: Thursday, March 30th and Friday, March 31st from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Limited to 10 chefs per session.
Cost: $45/chef
There will be a Chopped Contest at the end of the workshop for each session to test the skills learned in the workshop.
