Franklin County Extension Board
Each County Extension Program in Indiana is supported by the work of a County Extension Board which provides guidance on the overall direction of programming within the community.
Extension Board Members:
- Attend meetings held four times per year.
- Talk and listen to key stakeholders to assess the needs of community.
- Advise extension staff on community needs
- Assist in planning of annual extension meeting to highlight successful programming
- Provide feedback on hiring of new Extension Educators.
- Serve on special committees as needed.
- Provide feedback through annual program review.
- Support and encourage Extension staff in programming efforts.
- Serve as advocates for Purdue Extension in the community.
- Help promote Purdue Extension and local programming efforts.
