The 4-H Key Club Award is a program designed with a life-long membership for each recipient of this one-time award. The award designates the recipient as an outstanding 4-H member in the local club and county and encourages him or her to continue leadership in action "to further develop 4-H club work in Indiana". Its Fair Entry Time again! Each member actively enrolled in the 4-H Program will have to access the Fair Entry System and select ALL the exhibits (includes both 4-H Building AND animal projects) they are bringing to the fair. This system works hand-in-hand with 4HOnline (the web-based enrollment system).

The Monroe County Fair features a large variety of 4-H events and shows as well as numerous open events for all ages. Animals, livestock sale, foods, clothing, crafts, tractors, horticulture, entertainment, Queen contest, Baby contest, and the Talent show are just a few of the annual Monroe County Fair highlights. Gather the family together, get Mom out of the kitchen, and head for the 2016 Monroe County Fair for a great family outing.
Purdue Extension - Monroe County 4-H and HHS programs are teaming up with Monroe County Parks and Rec to present the 2016 Monroe County "Color Me Green" 5K Color Run. The Run/Walk will be held on June 25th at Karst Farm Park and is open to everyone.
