The Purdue Master Gardener Program is an integral part of the Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service and provides the citizens of Indiana a chance to grow.Orientation will be on January 9, 2017. Classes will run from January 16 - April 10 on Mondays from 6:00 - 9:15pm at the Prosser Career Educational Center. Course fee is $175. Course Fees and Registration Packet Due no later than December 1st.
Learn to cook with sweeteners, use less fat & sodium and fruits & vegetables in the upcoming Dining with Diabetes class. Reserve a spot in the Wednesday classes beginning January 25, 2017 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm at Purdue Extension Floyd County. Class is sponsored by Purdue Extension Floyd County, Southern Indiana Rehab Hospital. & Floyd County YMCA.
If you want to honor the family while building and transitioning your family farm business, there are important decisions and actions to take. This upbeat, interactive workshop, presented by Jolene Brown, CSP, will provide information about successful leaders and managers of legacy farms/businesses. Jolene's presentation, "The Positives of Passing It On," will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016.
