Thrifty Chicken! Learn how to cut up poultry and save money!
Learn how to safely cut up poultry and save money! On April 15, participants can come to Open Door Fellowship Church to learn from Nikky Witkowski how to cut up a raw whole chicken in order to save money. We will talk about food safety in doing this and the parts of the chicken as we go along. Every participant will cut their own 8-10lb chicken and go home with it. Participants will be required to wear cut safe gloves during the program! At the end of the program, Mindy Duckett will discuss recipe options for the different parts, including how to make your own chicken stock from whatever parts you don’t cook separately.
