Healthy Eating Made Simple

Eating healthy doesn't have to be complicated. Join us for a fun, hands-on workshop where you'll learn simple, budget-friendly meals your whole family will love. Leave with easy recipes, practical tips, and inspiration to make healthy eating part of your everyday routine. 

This free workshop includes: 

  • nutrition guidelines for the whole family
  • a healthy cooking demonstration
  • tasty recipe samples
  • easy ways to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into your meals

After class, be sure to visit the Lake County Health Department Mobile Health Clinic from 1-4pm, they will be offering free blood pressure and glucose checks, lead testing for children under 6, TB testing, and vaccines for all ages. Pre-registration is required for some services-contact the Lake County Health Department for details. This program is intended for adults, age 18 and older.
