From Coop to Cutting Board: Cutting Skills & Kitchen Safety

Join us on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 5:00pm-6:30pm at the Purdue Extension Elkhart County office (17746 County Road 34, Goshen, IN 46528) for our "From Coop to Cutting Board" educational program. During this free workshop, participants will gain hands-on experience learning how to break down a whole, store-bought chicken into individual cuts such as drumsticks, wings, thighs, and breasts. The second hands-on portion of the workshop will focus on evaluating egg quality and freshness, along with proper handling and storage techniques to help maintain safety and extend shelf life.
