
Extension Master Gardener Training - Fall 2025
Allen County is hosting an Extension Master Gardener training this Fall!
This training course covers various horticultural topics including ornamental plants, growing fruits and vegetables, soil health, invasive species, plant pests, and much more. The program aims to train volunteers to spread horticultural knowledge throughout the community. Classes take place in-person with sessions led by multiple experts and professionals. Upon completing the course, there will be a written exam to become a Master Gardener Intern. Interns can then volunteer in the community to become Master Gardeners.
The cost is $195.00, which covers the entire class and a printed manual.
Sessions will take place on Mondays from 2:00-5:00 PM at the Allen County Extension Office at 4001 Crescent Ave Fort Wayne, IN 46815 on the following dates:

September 29

October 20
October 27
November 3
November 10
November 17
November 24
Please note there is no class on Labor Day.
The Master Gardener application and policy guide is below. To participate in the training, you must first complete the attached application and turn it in at the Allen County Extension Office during business hours from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. When you turn in an application, we will verify your photo ID then send you the link to register and pay for the course.
The first 30 people to register and pay for the course will secure spots in the training.
