VITA

What is the VITA Program?

Purdue Extension, in partnership with the IRS and United Way of Howard/Tipton County, is excited to introduce the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. This initiative provides free tax preparation services to eligible individuals, including low- and moderate-income taxpayers, seniors, and those with disabilities. Supported by the IRS, VITA ensures tax filings are completed correctly, helps you get more money, and promotes financial confidence. This collaboration aligns with Purdue Extension’s mission to strengthen communities through research-based education and resources, increasing financial stability for individuals and families throughout Indiana.
