Eat Right- What we eat impacts our health and well-being. To help prevent and manage chronic diseases, HHS Extension offers guidance on healthy food choices and meal preparation.

Strengthen Families- Strong individuals and families build a foundation for healthy communities and a productive society. HHS Extension programs and resources address issues across the lifespan, including child care, school readiness, relationships, and aging.

dining with diabetes program 

Do you or you loved one have DIABETES? Do you have concerns regarding Diabetes? Need help making choices or coming up with healthy food ideas?

Nutrition and physical activity are keys to managing your type 2 diabetes. But where do you start? The Dining with Diabetes program can help!

  • Dining with Diabetes consists of four sessions and a reunion.
  • Adults with type 2 diabetes (or who are at risk) are invited to participate. Family members, caregivers, and support persons, too.
